Will tourism ever take off in Gujarat with Prohibition policy?
Prohibition is excellent tool which keeps alcohol away from the majority of the state population..and the result is better domestic harmony, savings etc...
But GOG has to come up with a more flexible rules for overseas and out of state visitors..
The Tourism zones / 5 Start Hotel should have such provision as PERMITS rooms where entry is permitted only to Out of state / overseas visitors.
In current times social drinking is part of the Middle/higher middle and upper class lifestyle.
This class is the driver of the economy today.....
The golf courses and high end tourism zones will work only if there is relaxation in the prohibition rules.
